Top 5 Film & Television Apps on iOS in Denmark, Q3 2024

During the third quarter of 2024, the film and television app market on iOS in Denmark showcased interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies experienced a notable rise in weekly revenue, starting at around $90.7K at the beginning of July and peaking at approximately $176K in late August. Weekly downloads, however, showed a steady decline from 26.4K to 9.8K, while weekly active users climbed from 64.4K to nearly 96K by the end of September.

Amazon Prime Video displayed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, beginning the quarter at $60.7K and ending with a peak of $116.7K. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable increase in mid-August, reaching a high of 12.5K, before stabilizing around 8.9K by the end of the quarter. Meanwhile, active users remained relatively stable, starting at 85.8K and closing at 92.3K.

Disney+ showed significant revenue growth, starting at $307K and peaking at $615.7K in the last week of September. Downloads were relatively stable throughout the quarter, with a notable spike to 6.8K in late September. Active users saw minor fluctuations, maintaining a range close to 188K.

DRTV did not generate any revenue during this period but maintained a steady download trend, starting at 5.6K and ending at 2.6K. Active users showed a slight downward trend from 52.8K to about 49.8K over the quarter.

Lastly, TV 2 PLAY Denmark also reported no revenue. Downloads began at 6.5K and gradually decreased to 1.7K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 59K and closing at 53.2K.
